ME 555 Finite Element Modeling and Analysis

The finite element method as related to the solution of mechanical design problems including thermal stress analysis. Various element formulations will be discussed, and existing commercial codes will be used to demonstrate modeling and analysis techniques. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as ME 455 and may be taken only once for credit.
