ESM 241 Environmental Biology Concepts I

This course will delve into the source of life and diversity on our planet: Classical Mendelian genetics, modern uses of DNA to identify hidden diversity, evolution, natural selection and biogeography. We will discuss the relevance of these topics in our current ecosystems. Includes laboratory and/or fieldwork. This is the first course in a sequence of two: ESM 241 and ESM 242.
