Chn 311 Introductory Classical Chinese

Readings in the traditional literary language, designed to provide familiarity with essential particles and structures, build vocabulary, and introduce works from all genres and periods. Recommended as a complement to third-year Chinese; preparation for advanced work in either modern or classical Chinese. This is the first course in a sequence of two: Chn 311 and Chn 312. Expected preparation: Chn 203.
