Ch 431 Advanced Organic Chemistry

Advanced treatment of general organic reactions and structure; emphasis on bonding, stereochemistry, the correlation of structure and reactivity, scope and mechanisms of organic reactions classified by reaction type. This is the second course in a sequence of two: Ch 430 and Ch 431. Also offered for graduate credit as Ch 431 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Ch 336, 442/542, or 417/517.
