Reasonable Accommodation/Access
At Portland State University, the Disability Resource Center (DRC) determines whether students are eligible for disability protections under the law. Students with disabilities have the right to request accommodations that provide them with equal access to classes, activities, and campus life. In collaboration with the Office of Equity and Compliance, the Office of Instructional Technology, and others, the Disability Resource Center (DRC) ensures that students with disabilities have equal access to PSU courses, programs, buildings, services, and events. We do this by providing accommodations, assistive technology, and support services. We also offer training, guidance, and technical help to students, staff, and faculty to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment. PSU’s accessibility policy is available in the policy library.
