ME 220 Computational Methods for Engineering

Introduces computational methods for solving scientific and engineering problems. Translates fundamental mathematical and engineering concepts into data structures and algorithms to extend and solidify computational skills. Emphasizes developing skills for data visualization and simulation. Students will use the MATLAB environment to implement numerical solutions where exact or closed-form methods are insufficient, including case studies in bacterial division, heat transfer, and traffic flow.
