ECE 411 Industry Design Processes
Prepares students for
ECE 412 and
ECE 413 Senior Project Development I and II. Topics include: design documentation standards; building and managing effective teams; product development steps; developing and presenting project proposals; design processes; project scheduling and management; design to meet desired needs. Lectures and a team-based term project.
Prerequisite
CmpE students:
ECE 211,
ECE 212,
ECE 361,
ECE 362,
ECE 371,
ECE 372 and at least one of
ECE 315 or
ECE 321. EE students:
ECE 211,
ECE 212,
ECE 315,
ECE 321, and
ECE 371 and at least three of
ECE 316,
ECE 322,
ECE 331, or
EE 347. All courses must be passed with a grade of C or better.
