Mus 447 Songwriting

Explores facets of songwriting including lyrics, melody, harmony, arrangement and texture, structure and dramatic arc, performance, and collaborative work. Throughout the course students will analyze and discuss songs of diverse genres, and experiment with songwriting elements through games and creative prompts.
