Psy 430 Applied Social Psychology

Explores current and potential applications of social psychological theories and research methods, with a focus on work conducted in field settings. As a final project, each student examines an applied area of their own choosing (previous projects have focused on normative role transitions, responses to natural disasters, political attitudes, conflict resolution, and intergroup relations). Expected preparation: Stat 243Z and Stat 244, Psy 321, Psy 342, or Psy 343.
