The course will also cover basic statistical methods for the analysis of spatial data such as kriging and spatial clustering. Some statistical graphics may use R. The format of class will be intensive in-class session during the first two weeks of summer quarter and students are required to do homework and course projects with data sets throughout the quarter under the supervision of the instructor.
