Anth 304 Identity and Society

Examines power relations in social organization from the family to the global economy. Topics include political processes, exploitation, identity, agency, social change, and globalization, with an emphasis on understanding contemporary social issues in cross-cultural perspective through critical, feminist, interpretative and political economic theoretical frameworks.
