Zionism as ideology and practice in context of Jewish and European history. Includes society and culture Zionism created under the British mandate of Palestine, roots of the Arab-Jewish conflict in this context, and impact on Jewish life and politics in Eastern and Central Europe and the United States. this is the same course as JSt 379U and can only be taken once for credit.
