Health Services in the Center for Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) is staffed by licensed, experienced healthcare providers, Registered Nurses (RN’s), and allied health professionals who are available for diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and referrals for illness and injury. Health Services offers a range of primary care services including screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), diagnostic laboratory work, women’s health services, family planning counseling and contraception, x-ray, immunizations, and student travel consultation and preparation. Health Services also offers hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and trans medical services. Health Services also has RN’s trained and licensed to provide examinations and support for sexual assault survivors.
