Degree requirements

All courses used to satisfy the School of Music & Theater major and minor requirements, whether taken in the School or elsewhere, must be graded C or above. In all degrees where upper division applied music is required, students must pass the mandatory upper division examination. Admission to the B.M. in Music Education program or the B.M. in Composition program, and the B.A./B.S. in Sonic Arts and Music Production is contingent on a mandatory portfolio review.
