Admission requirements

Students must be admitted into the major to earn a baccalaureate degree in Child and Family Studies. Admittance requirements are the completion of 90 credits and Psy 311U or Psy 460 or their equivalents. Thirty applicants are admitted each term. Information meetings are held for students who are considering application into the program. Call 503-725-8241 to schedule attendance at an informational meeting. The application packet includes an essay, an application form, completed reference forms, and unofficial transcripts. Students are accepted provisionally until they attend an Orientation meeting which is scheduled in the first week of the term of their admittance.
