Wr 435 Grammar for Writers

Study of grammar that focuses on writing that reads well aloud. Topics include: editing written work for rhythm, meter, emphasis, and balance; translating prose or poetry; and writing speeches, letters, and other forms of communication. Provides background for students in upper-division and graduate programs that require writing and editing skills. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Wr 535 and may be taken only once for credit.
