WLL 449 Major Topics in World Literature and Culture

Study of the treatment of topics in one or more of the cultures of the world. Such topics as Europe as self and other, Don Juan, exile, the quest, outlaws and bandits, ghosts, fairies and gods. Also offered for graduate-level credit as WLL 547 and may be taken only once for credit. Recommended prerequisite: Sophomore Inquiry or 12 credits of literature. Conducted in English.
