Soc 527 Gender and Work

Consideration of the theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions of current scholarship in the area of gender and work. Emphasis on the intersection of gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, and class. Topics include: inequalities in the labor force, low wage work and poverty, work/family conflict, sex/sexuality in the workplace, and masculinity. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Soc 427 and may be taken only once for credit.
