Psy 578 Leadership and Group Effectiveness

Study of leadership in small groups with an emphasis on interpersonal influence processes. Leadership is viewed as statements or actions intended to influence a group's efforts toward goal setting and achievement. Includes discussion of leadership training/development, and self-awareness of style. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Psy 478 and may be taken only once for credit. Recommended prerequisite: Psy 321.
