Ger 441 Major Works in Translation

Study of selections from masterpieces of German literature in translation, such as Goethe, the Weimar period, German Intellectual History, Ancient Myth in German Literature. Readings, lectures, and discussions in English. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Ger 541 and may be taken only once for credit. Recommended prerequisite: 4 credits of upper division literature.
