CS 551 Numerical Computation

Introduction to numerical methods. Includes topics from elementary discussion of errors, polynomials, interpolation, quadrature, linear systems of equations, and solution of nonlinear equations. Also offered for undergraduate-credit as CS 451 and may be taken only once for credit.
