CR 529 European Union as a Peacebuilding System

Interdisciplinary focus on the European Union as an inter- and trans-national system of conflict resolution and peace building. Examined by contrasting the nationalist conflicts of old Europe to post-war efforts in building a system of peace and security that transcends belligerent ethnocentric nationalism. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as CR 429 and may be taken only once for credit.
