CR 427 Nationalism and Ethnic Conflict

Interdisciplinary inquiry into leading perspectives and theories of nationalism. Examined as a determinant factor of international and interethnic conflict. Analyzed through multiple case-specific conflict phenomena. Assessed in terms of its historical roots, evolution, structural patterns and socio-political antecedents and consequences. Also offered for graduate-level credit as CR 527 and may be taken only once for credit.
