CE 628 Finite Elements in Structural Mechanics

Principles of stiffness analysis of structures, essentials of the finite element formulation of elastic problems with applications to structural mechanics, plates and shells, and other related problems utilizing digital computers. Also offered as CE 528 and may be taken only once for credit. This is the second course in a sequence of two: CE 627 and CE 628.
