Bi 586 Pathogenic Bacteriology

Study of bacteria pathogenic to humans and their relationship to infectious disease. Emphasis on the biochemical mechanism of infection and laboratory diagnosis.  Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Bi 486 and may be taken only once for credit.
