Arch 432 History and Theory of Urban Design

Introduction to the development of historical and contemporary urban design with parallel developments in architecture and urban planning. Theoretical models are related to current practices in the design of various sociopolitical, environmental and aesthetic urban contexts. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Arch 532 and may be taken only once for credit.
