WS 431U Women in the Visual Arts

This course studies both the representation of women and gender and the art and patronage by women in various media (painting, sculpture, architecture, printmaking, photography, textiles and mixed media). Explores 19th century and 20th century America and Europe. This course is the same as ArH 431; may only be taken once for credit.
