TA 564 Development of Dramatic Art

Survey of dramatic literature and theater history from ancient times to the emergence of the modern theater in the 19th century. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as TA 464 and may be taken only once for credit. This is the first course in a sequence of two: TA 564 and TA 565. The course is chronological in its presentation but each term may be taken separately.
