Psy 447 Personnel Psychology

How individual differences affect work behavior and task performance and how psychologists measure and predict such differences. Covers the development, administration, and utility of modern instruments for selection and appraisal. Data combination strategies and decision making in personnel systems are discussed. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Psy 547 and may be taken only once for credit.




Recommended prerequisites: Stat 243 and Stat 244, Psy 321 and Psy 360 or Psy 361.
