MuEd 584 Music with Children

Methods and materials for teaching general music classes in the elementary school. Designed for the music specialist; required of all students who seek a basic teaching certificate in music. It is presupposed that all students have performing and theoretical skills and at least one year of music history. Concurrent enrollment in an appropriate practicum (Mus 409) required. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as MuEd 484 and may be taken only once for credit.
