ME 517 Gas Turbines

Introduction to the thermodynamic analysis of the performance of gas turbine engines. Study of gas turbines for rotary power output as well as aircraft propulsion. Rotary power analysis focuses on the different gas turbine cycles, including combined cycles. Aircraft propulsion analysis focuses on turbojets, turbofans, turboprops ramjets, and advanced concepts.
