Ling 472 Teaching Pronunciation

This is a practical, hands-on course in which students apply phonetics and phonology in the context of language education. While the focus is on teaching English pronunciation, the course includes general theory and applications that are useful for students planning to teach pronunciation of other languages (e.g., Spanish, Chinese). Also offered for graduate-level credit as Ling 572 and may be taken only once for credit.
