Hst 541 American Environmental History

Hst 440/540: A survey of North American history to 1900 from an environmental perspective with special reference to the development of environmental thought, interdisciplinary topics in environmental history, and the history of ecological thinking. This is the second course in a sequence of two: Hst 540 and Hst 541. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Hst 441 and may be taken only once for credit.
