Hst 535 American Diplomatic History

The history of American involvement in world affairs from colonial times to the present. Hst 435/535: Emphasis on America as the object of European diplomacy; winning and maintaining independence, continental expansion, and civil war. This is the first course in a sequence of three: Hst 535, Hst 536 and Hst 537. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Hst 435 and may be taken only once for credit.
