Hst 441 American Environmental History

Hst 441/541: A survey of North American history since 1900 from an environmental perspective with special reference to conservation and environmentalism, interdisciplinary topics in environmental history, political action, and contemporary environmental thought. This is the second course in a sequence of two: Hst 440 and Hst 441. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Hst 541 and may be taken only once for credit.
