Hst 434 Colonial American and U.S. Social and Intellectual History
Hst 434/534: 1860-present. Each term will examine three or four aspects of American social and intellectual history-such as race, class, religion and philosophy, ideology and politics, community, region, or labor. This is the second course in a sequence of two: Hst 433 and Hst 434. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Hst 534 and may be taken only once for credit.
