ESM 690 Ecosystem Services and Sustainability: Developing a Toolkit

Ecosystem services provide a conceptual framework for addressing ecological, social and economic sustainability. Students will learn to use an interdisciplinary toolbox of methods and techniques useful for assessing various aspects of ecosystem services. Students will develop a project proposal on a real-world application of ecosystem services assessments and valuation. Also offered for credit as ESM 590 and may be taken only once for credit.
