ESM 563 Water Quality Policy & Management

Review and assessment the efficacy of water quality laws, regulations, and policies. Focus on the Water Quality Standards for the State of Oregon for temperature, bacteria, chemical toxins and nutrients. Role of science in decisions protecting and restoring rivers from water pollution. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as ESM 463 and may be taken only once for credit.
