Coun 536 Addictions Counseling Capstone

Merges theoretical components of addiction treatment with practical application. Students enhance their acdemic learning by providing counseling services (i.e., individual counseling, group counseling and/or observational learning activities with actual clients) in a clinical training setting. This course addresses practice domains including individual and group counseling skills, counseling a diverse population, and working with dual diagnosis.
