Chn 511 Advanced Chinese

Development of facility with complex patterns in conversation, reading and writing. Topics such as Rural China, The Philosophers, Documentary Chinese, The Structure of Chinese. This is the first course in a sequence of two: Chn 511 and Chn 512. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as Chn 411 and may be taken only once for credit.
