Ch 470 NMR Spectroscopy

Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy theory and practice. Basic quantum theory of magnetic moments, the semi-classical vector model of spins, and the product operator formalism will be applied using a variety of NMR spectroscopic techniques. Also offered for graduate-level credit as Ch 570 and may be taken only once for credit. Expected preparation: Ch 417 or Ch 442.
