Application of polymer-based geosynthetic products for geo-environmental and municipal engineering including landfills, soil erosion control, filters, and drains. Testing, design, and product selection for hydraulic, degradation, and chemical stability properties. Introduction to reliability, endurance, and design life with reference to RCRA, ESA, and EPA laws. Also offered for undergraduate-level credit as CE 445 and may be taken only once for credit.
