Admission requirements

MPH - Community Health

To apply for admission to the MPH graduate degree program, students are required to:

• Have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or higher.
• Provide scores for the Graduate Record Examination and TOEFL if applicable.
• Provide three letters of recommendation from individuals qualified to assess the applicant’s potential as a graduate student.
• Submit a 500-word essay describing the applicant’s professional goals as they relate to the graduate program in Community Health.

In addition to providing academic transcripts, a resume of professional work-related experience (if any) should be submitted. The application deadline for admission to the MPH is December 1st of each year. The early admission deadline is November 15.

M.A./M.S. - Health Studies

The application deadline for the MA/MS is May 1st.
