Electives (20 credits)
Students may select any ETM course not used to fulfill core requirements as an elective. Additionally, they can use up to 4 Learning Lab credits (ETM 508) and up to 4 Internship Credits (ETM 504) as electives. Many students choose to align their elective credits with the requirements of graduate certificates from ETM or related programs. This allows them to earn a second credential and highlight an area of expertise. Admitted ETM Master's students in good standing can simply add an ETM graduate certificate. Upon request and after consultation with an advisor, the department grants elective credits for graduate courses taken from other PSU programs on a case-by-case basis. This allows students to optimally align their studies with their career interests.
