Electrical Engineers study electricity and the design of electrical systems like circuits and computer chips. Applying knowledge in power generation, electromagnetics, and acoustics, signal processing, and analog/radio frequency design, they design, test, and operate everything from smart phones to large scale power generators. Computer Engineers design technology from the very small, like microprocessors, to the very big, such as supercomputers, using knowledge across the digital electronics and computer industry, including embedded systems, computer architecture, robotics, and machine learning.
