USP 445 Global Just Cities

Employing a critical "Just City" framework to analyze global urban development and community changes, we examine how economic globalization and population growth exacerbate problems like socio-spatial inequality, resource scarcity, and environmental degradation. Using comparative international case studies, the course investigates power imbalances that fundamentally shape unequal urban development. It critically explores how marginalized and disadvantaged populations navigate these global urban development processes.
