HSMP 543 Culture and Health Care

The course is designed to provide an examination of health delivery and outcomes and the influence of culture. Using readings in conjunction with interactive learning, students consider various cultures and their interactions with the health care system. Knowledge of the tools, techniques, and applications of cultural assessment and cultural competency will be achieved.
