Examination of theories and applications of political ecology, which examines different forms of power relations in relation to social-environmental change. Overview of political ecological approach to different issues including conservation, environmental justice, environmental policy and governance, hazards and disasters, urban ecology, and other topics. Overview of intersection with contemporary social and environmental issues and movements.
