CPH 528 Quality Improvement and Management in Health Systems

Introduction to management, focusing on effective strategies for creating a productive work environment through techniques like conflict resolution, building collaborative teams, and providing team leadership. Quality improvement approaches and tools used in measuring, managing and improving the quality and performance of health systems will also be addressed. Resource allocation and development with a focus on budgets as a tool for management and quality improvement will be discussed. Case studies taken from public health departments and other settings will be used to master problem-solving methods.
