Anth 305 Culture and Power

Explores the historical development of the concept of culture within anthropology. Examines how the culture concept and the theories based on it both challenge and reproduce existing power relations. Topics include: structural racism, violence and policing, globalization, inequality, religion, technology. Designed for anthropology majors and minors.
